New Year calls for new hobbies!

I’ve always taken an interest in floral arrangement, but never really attempted it in my own capacity at home. With an hour to spare in the morning, I popped by Far East Flora and picked out some flowers and leaves. I started with a colour theme in mind (Yellow), then picked out the hero flower (Ranunculus), and worked from there.

I got one packet of each of the following: Ranunculus, Anethum, Mimosa, and Eucalyptus.

There is no fixed way of building the bouquet, perhaps what I can suggest is have the Ranunculus be the focus of attention, and build your bouquet around them. Keep the Eucalyptus light!

Do note you will be buying the flowers and leaves in wholesale quantity. For your reference, I used up 3/4 of my Ranunculus stock for the bouquet you see in this blog post! You will be left with an excess of Mimosa and Ranunculus if you plan to only make one bouquet, so perhaps you can make 1-2 more bouquets to gift to friends/ to place around the house (buy more than one packet of Ranunculus in this case).

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know if you’d like to see more!
