Jeju Café Guide
Tourists and locals flock to Jeju all year round for the glorious sunsets and marvellous views that nature has to offer. To fully take in the spectacular sights of Jeju, we took a day trip from the North to the East of Jeju to check out Seongsan Ilchulbong (a.k.a Sunrise Peak).
Though the drive’s a little longer we were set on taking the coastal route that’s off highway 1132, but if you’re strapped for time, you can just stick to the highway. It’s stunningly scenic, which also means cafés with unbelievable views! To help you find your way around all that Jeju has to offer, I’ve put together this guide to the top 3 cafés with the best views in Jeju!
Balmy Island
Clean, crisp and kinfolk-inspired, Balmy Island offers two floors of unhindered sea view, with a wide selection of coffee and cakes for your afternoon snack! The café’s high ceilings make it feel open and breezy, great for taking in the sea views as you unwind after the long drive.

Café Ri
Though it’s tucked away in a corner, Café Ri still draws plenty of visitors, and it is easy to see why. You can choose to enjoy your afternoon tea in their elegantly styled outdoor area, or chill in their indoor area full of greenery and adorable cats!

Osulloc Tea Museum
More than just a café, the Osulloc Tea Museum is a unique Jeju experience no one should miss. You’d wanna set aside more time for this stop to check out their teacup gallery, tea stone and indoor garden!
The Osulloc Tea Museum sits nearby the Seokwang tea fields in Jeju and also offers tea tastings in the mountains! With delicious tea-infused treats at their cafe and hills of rolling greens right outside, this is one stop every one definitely needs to make.
