With every new year, comes new beauty releases to look forward to! And being a Disney lover, (and more so a Piglet fan), I couldn’t wait to check out the cutest beauty launch of 2019 so far–the limited edition Happy With Piglet collection by Etude House. There’s so much to love about this collection, so here are our top makeup picks you should snap up before Chinese New Year!

Happy with Piglet Color in Liquid Lips Air Mousse

Don’t be intimidated by the first swatch which can be super pigmented. While the lippie does give you the choice to wear a gorgeous bold lip, the airy texture allows you to blend it out for a softer ombre effect as well!

The lightweight formula definitely feels comfortable on your lips, even if they’re dry and sensitive. The creamy texture gives a soft focus effect which applies evenly and reduces visible cracked or chapped lips. Since it is a mousse and blends out pretty easily, you can also use this on your cheeks!

Happy With Piglet Face Blur

Add this cream to your makeup routine and thank us later. With it, you’ll have a smooth and flawless base for your makeup sit on. The blur effect instantly refines your skin texture, without leaving your skin feeling sticky thanks to the airy skin powder! This lightweight base also provides UV protection, anti-ageing properties and whitens your skin tone.

Happy With Piglet Mousse Blusher & Brush

Source / Source

This blusher comes in a jelly mousse texture which sits so comfortably on the skin. I love that the pigment is buildable, so you can either go light and natural or just have at it! Out of the five colours, I’d recommend the shade Oink-Oink Happy Piggy, which has more of a brownish-pink hue for a flushed but natural finish.

Paired alongside the blusher is the brush that can also be used for liquid and cream formula blushes. Since it is a mini, it’s portable and convenient to keep with you in your makeup bag. The great thing about it is that it provides two different finishes, depending on how you work your brush. Circular motions leave a soft and natural finish while tapping gives high coverage and stronger colour.

Happy with Piglet Look At My Eyes

Featuring the same formula from the Look At My Eyes Café and Jewel ranges, these single eyeshadows come named after the different Winnie the Pooh characters or iconic elements — such as Pooh’s Hunny.

With an array of shades (inspired by the SS’19 trend colours), there’s so much you can do. The team is loving Tigger’s shade that’s aptly named “Don’t Be Sad”. The glittery copperish-pink shade is the perfect day-to-night shadow we’re already itching to wear to our Chinese New Year reunions already.

Aside from makeup, Etude House also re-released the Soon Jung Skincare Set and Moistfull Collagen Skincare Set, dressed in the new collection’s packaging. The limited edition Happy with Piglet collection is now available in stores, so be sure to get your hands on them while you can! It’s a great way to ring in the year of the pig. With that, we wish everyone a wonderful new year, that’ll be filled with more adorable releases!

Lots of love,
