Giorgio Armani was a young boy when he fell in love with cinematography. He found solace in those sacred moments of watching life unfold on a big screen. He soon found a way to marry two of his greatest loves – film and fashion – by designing costumes for some of Hollywood’s biggest stars: Richard Gere in ‘American Gigolo’ and Leonardo Decaprio in ‘Wolf Of Wall Street’ to name a few.

This past July, Armani Beauty brought to life Mr Armani’s love for the silver screen via a beauty pop-up at ION Orchard. Titled ‘Armani Cinema’, customers were treated to a Hollywood-themed beauty experience that takes a nod to old-school American cinemas. Cue: red carpets, make-up booths designed to transport you to a backstage makeup room,  bulb-studded marques, and a glam team at your service!

The classic ‘My Armani To Go’ Cushion came in a limited-edition gilded packaging. This intentionally mimics the gold lacquered Oscars Award. Formulated with a satin-matte finish, this foundation offers you sheer and lightweight coverage. It allows the natural glow of your skin to shine through. 

Other limited-edition releases included the gold packaged  Lip Maestro #400 – which Mr Armani took 95 trials to perfect. You can make your Armani lipsticks personalised complimentary engraving services available at future Armani Pop-Ups.
