Christmas, birthdays and Sephora Press days—the 3 favourite occasions I look forward most to each year. Today, we give you a preview of the latest beauty trends and products from your favourite Sephora brands. Navigating the winding labyrinths of the pop-ups is a yearly affair. Amongst many other natural skincare heroes like Retinol, Vitamin C has taken its place on the pedestal, aka the top shelf of my beauty cabinet. From promoting collagen production to all its anti-oxidant-anti-ageing-anti-everything properties, Vitamin C infused skincare gems make a feature in this Sephora press haul:

1. Inkey List’s Vitamin C, SGD$18

There is a special place in my heart for beauty products that work, without leaving me in a financial gut. Like The Ordinary, The Inkey List is all about simplicity and straightforwardness: a collection of 15 hero products that contain as few ingredients as possible. From retinol to hyaluronic acid, and now Vitamin C and Polyglutamic Acid, Inkey List is a brand that should be on your radar this year.

2. Sunday Riley’s C.E.O Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Oil, SGD$113

Named after an actual person, the god-sent Ms Riley is a cosmetic chemist and product formulator (basically, she knows what she’s doing). After being in the industry for several years and being dissatisfied with the inefficacy of some of the skincare products, she took matters into her own hands and created her own formulas infused with nothing-but-the-best high-quality actives. One of which is Sunday Riley’s C.E.O Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil:

Alongside vitamin C, this face oil features the centuries-old Indian Spice turmeric, a natural ingredient which contains powerful medicinal properties topically used to reduce and soothe skin inflammation. Combined with Vitamin C, this product makes a strong case when it comes to giving your skin that golden-hour-glow.

3. Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil, SGD$43

Biossance’s Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil targets both dryness and dullness for your face, body and hair—my kind of 3-in-1.

Launched in 2006, this natural skin-care brand Biossance started out as a direct-to-customer website. However, it was soon swooped up by Sephora. What’s so special about this brand? The company’s entire line is made with 100% (plant-derived) squalane. This is an ingredient that you’ll definitely want to add to cart if you have dry skin.

Itching to get a daily dose of vitamin C into your skin?  Head straight down to a Sephora near you.
