Charlotte Tilbury’s lipsticks and rose gold are like cotton pads and micellar water — they go hand in hand. The brand has been a megahit ever since they hit the shelves of Sephora last October and we just can’t get enough. From their ultra-flattering Matte Revolution Lipsticks to the glammed-up Hollywood Lips Liquid Lipsticks, there’s a formula and shade for everyone and anyone. In today’s #ShebyDC, we gave 4 girls a chance to try out Charlotte Tilbury’s Superstar Lips Lipstick (S$50). Scroll on to read their thoughts on it.

Go-to Makeup Look: Bold on the eyes, bold on the lips!

I’m always changing up my eyeshadow and lipstick shades according to my mood. Charlotte Tilbury’s Super Stay Lips Lipstick in Walk of Shame is the perfect MLBB (My Lips But Better) for me. It is a sheer, yet buildable balm that feels really comfortable and moisturising on the lips. However, for its price, I expected a more lux packaging. Overall, I do really like this lipstick, and am really glad to have it in my collection!

Go-to Makeup Look: A perfect sunset look on the eyes, complete with contour, highlight, blush and a pinky nude to compliment the eyes.

I love how Charlotte Tilbury’s packaging always feels lux and expensive and the product inside is no different! The moment I tried on the Superstar Lips in Sexy Lips, I knew that I was going to love it. The lipstick feels so moisturising and the glossy finish made my lips look so plump and healthy! I love the sheer wash of colour that it gives — perfect for days when you just need some colour on the lips to brighten up your appearance. Though it doesn’t last as long as a conventional matte lipstick, touch-ups are quick and easy!

Go-to Makeup Look: Emphasized more on the brows and lips

I love that the lipstick is packed in a sleek cylindrical rod which is easy to carry around. Upon application, it glides on my lips pretty well, revealing a glossy sheen. This product is also not drying or cakey. However, as this colour (Everlasting Kiss) is too similar to my natural lip colour, I would have opted for something brighter instead. Still, it is a good lipstick that goes with anything you wear!

Go-to Makeup Look: Very simple — Filled in eyebrows, blush, and a rose mauve shade to suit my everyday look

I’ve never been a fan of glossy lipstick but this Superstar lipstick has been my go-to if I want a little touch of shine. It glides on smoothly and is really hydrating! I’m glad I picked the shade Pillowtalk as it really suits my skin tone. Will definitely purchase Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick next!

The Sephora-exclusive Charlotte Tilbury Superstar Lips Lipsticks are available in 4 super wearable colours, each made to enhance the look of your lips. If you are looking to change up your gloss game, try Tilbury.

With Love,

Steph
