We’ve been enamoured with a more stripped-back, fresh and luminous bridal look that without doubt, begins with a smooth, radiant base. For a beaming head start on your big day, here’s our guide to Andrea’s wedding skincare routine for bright and dewy skin!

A Wedding Skincare Routine For That Gorgeous Glow

Step 1, prep:

Wake and prep your skin with a generous spritz of facial mist. For an ultra-fine dose of hydration and energy, we went with the Chanel Hydra Beauty Essence Mist

Step 2, essence:

Then, to combine the lightness of a toning water and strength of a more concentrated essence, we used the Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Liquid Essence. Taking about five drops in the palm of the hand, apply to your cheeks, forehead and chin, sweeping outwards (and upwards) from the centre of the face. Gently pat-in for better absorption and an instant glow!

Step 3, serum:

If you haven’t noticed, hydration is key for the glow! Replenish and boost your skin’s moisture levels with a concentrated hydrating serum, we used the Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Serum. Likewise, beginning from the middle of the face, smooth the serum outwards and upwards. Pat-in lightly to promote absorption and more supple skin.

Step 4, eye care:

We know how early the wedding prep begins. Combat the most visible signs of fatigue around your eyes with a targeted eye cream/serum — we picked the Chanel Blue Serum Eye. With your ring finger, gently massage the eye serum in circular motions around your eye area, beginning outwards from the inner corner. Bring this up to your temples for an extra relaxing application ritual.

Step 5, moisturiser:

Lock everything in with a lightweight moisturiser that will prep your skin for makeup and won’t leave you looking greasy. For a smooth and illuminated finish, we used the Chanel Hydra Beauty Camellia Water Cream. With all the hydration you’ve supplied to your skin, less is probably just-right for moisturiser. Use lightly!

Step 6, sunscreen:

If you’re having an outdoor wedding like Andrea is, don’t skip out on essential SPF! Get even more out of your sun care by using a cc cream that combines sun protection with skincare properties and a hint of coverage. We used the Chanel UV Essentiel (SPF50)

Step 7, lip care:

You can’t possibly neglect lip care on your wedding day! Layer on lip balm to smooth, soften and restore — we used a generous serving of the Chanel Hydra Beauty Nourishing Lip Care

It must be a unanimous agreement that there’s something deeply captivating about that romantic, dreamy bridal glow — the way brides seem to catch all the light on their big day. If wedding bells are chiming for you, it’s time to get ‘glowin yourself — good luck!

Take care,
