Versatility meets comfort in lululemon’s new fall/ winter collection – think layering pieces designed to take you through your day. From running errands, to getting a workout done, or even just to lounge at home as we brace ourselves for a rainier colder season, you’re covered – literally.
We put together some of our favourite looks in a shoot with Andrea and her followers (where each follower walked away with almost a year’s worth of lululemon outfits!), and highlighted the key trends you’ll see in lululemon’s latest drop.
Ann wears the Stretch High-Rise ⅞ Length Pant in Copper Brown
and Invigorate Bra in French Press
Andrea wears the the Get Centered Crop Hoodie in Pecan Tan
and Wunder Train High-Rise Short in Copper Brown
Trend 1: Neutral and Warm
What Andrea loves about the neutral tones is that “it helps to ground the collection and also make them everlasting pieces in our wardrobe.” For Ann, it’s all about empowerment: the neutral hues bring about a sense of confidence she can wear throughout the seasons.
Andrea wears the Autumn Red Brunswick Muscle Tank, the Align™ Pant in Black
and the Scuba Oversized Full Zip in Heathered Core Medium Grey
Andrea wears the Wunder High Rise Shorts in Aztec Brick styled with a White Align™ Tank
and the Gotta Hustle Jacket in Light Ivory
Trend 2: Hints of Orange
The orange tones from this collection are a “refreshing addition to fall/ winter”, adds Andrea. We show you how we style these autumnal red tones with staple pieces you might already have in your wardrobe.
Fall calls for layering: We threw on two outerwear pieces that are great to cover up from the cold – whether you’re heading to the gym or running out for errands. As Andrea puts it, “the outerwear pieces almost function as a post workout look which you can wear to run errands and be on the go”. With the rainy season approaching us, this might be just what we need.
Andrea wears the LA Asymmetrical-Cut-Out Crew in Black
with the Align™ Pant in White
Trend 3: Monochrome Cut-Outs
While monochrome fits are stylish on their own, this collection elevates the outer pieces with the inclusion of cut-outs, making it as trendy as ever. The ‘cut-out’ trend accentuates that bit of your body, so you can feel confident while being covered up!
Shafiqah wears the Get Centered Crop hoodie
and Wunder Train High-Rise Short, both in Black
Trends aside, let’s not forget that comfort is key – an extremely important element to former Silat exponent and recent lululemon convert, Shafiqah. “The crop hoodie is an absolute game changer. It’s lightweight material gives me the comfort I need to last longer during my runs. It is breathable and airy – perfect to train in our hot and humid weather.” Not only does this collection empower her through her workouts, but they pose as new key staples in her everyday wardrobe.
