Homegrown labels have shown their superior edge: fast delivery, mindfulness to the local trends, and innovation that even international editors have picked up on. So here’s our homage to all things Singaporean — a lookbook built off local beauty and fashion brands, personally picked by Andrea:
Flamboyant Flounce
The Mashup: Minor Miracles & Solos Cosmetics
Bringing together two brands that are not afraid to challenge the status quo and stand out from the norm.
Minor Miracles presents a new silhouette to the A-line cut with a bubble hem, a hemming style that was embraced by the extravagant 80’s. Its nod to the retro is accentuated by Minor Miracles’ funky reimagination of vertical lines. Charmingly named Pick Up Lines print, the hand-drawn running lines are inspired by the seemingly endless horizon. The warm yellow fabric complements the warm-tone lines for an overall playful (and oh-so-comfortable) wear to lunch dates or stylish lounging.
Expect the dress to sashay with your every step, a refreshingly spirited break from asymmetric silhouettes and rigid structures.
Topping it off is Solos Cosmetics’ Lipmattic in Ultraromantic. A soft, powdered pink that easily pairs with any look, be it full glam or everyday natural. Buildable and lightweight, the velvety liquid lip is light on the wallet and high in pigmentation. Solos’ philosophy is one that embodies conscious individualism. Vegan and cruelty-free, no furry friends are harmed in their gender-neutral range.

A Pared Ode
The Mashup: Rye, Rooki Beauty and Kuby Beauty
An appreciation of pared-back simplicity and muted palettes.
Rye’s Cocoon Dress sports a voluminous style that is balanced by a neutral khaki green. The weighted, structured quality juxtaposes its billowed frame. These contrast, along with the asymmetrical hem dip and exposed backline, denote minimalistic chic. The subtle pleat hides its functional pockets — a stand-alone piece that requires no added accessories or bags. Pair with a simple stiletto to create slimmer leg lines.
Skin prep is essential for natural looks. Rooki Beauty’s Green Pulp Paste Masque is all we want and more! With youth-preserving plant complexes, this hydrating mask reinvigorates the complexion in just fifteen minutes. Expect a glass-like radiance to permeate the skin after you wash it off — a perfect canvas accentuated by a dab of warm brick red from Kuby Beauty’s Matte Love Liquid Lipstick.

The Dewy Girl Next Door
The Mashup: Esse and Auolive
Two-piece sets are a must-have in the wardrobe — they are a fuss-free staple that complements the bustle of a woman’s life. Esse’s execution is that of slim spaghetti straps and elastic waistbands. In a flattering navy hue, the pieces come together for a modest, elegant look that fits into any occasion. Andrea especially loves how comfortable it is — cut from special ProViscose® fabric, the set is a highly breathable wear for Singapore’s notorious heat. It also troops through laundry washes without stretching out or ripping. A garment that will be by your side through your best years!
Paired with the simplicity of Esse’s set is a full-face glow, made possible by Auolive’s Day Glower. An all-in-one solution, it is a hydrating day moisturiser with SPF30 and primer properties. Mixing a pump into foundation creates a flawless and even canvas that looks kissed by the water gods.
