If your big day is round the corner and you’re in need of some beauty inspiration, we’ve got you. Presenting our Bridal Hair & Makeup Edit, where we take you behind the vanity of Andrea’s own wedding hair and makeup look. Bridal beauty to us is classy, natural (We want to see those freckles!) and most importantly, fuss-free. We like makeup that transcends the day — since you don’t want to forgo precious time with family and friends by spending it all on getting ready. We also like a look that looks like you and one that you can replicate yourself (of course, with a little bit more time). Just like when Kate Middleton did her own makeup for her church wedding — now that’s real bridal beauty goals!
(PS: We also have a surprise in store for you at the end, so stay with us!)
I. Soft Brilliance: A Glowy, Au-Naturel Makeup Look
We’re all about a luminous, radiant look that will last through your wedding day bustle (or at least till you can squeeze in a quick touch-up). The focus: an ultra-fresh, glowing base that lets your own skin peek through while giving you lasting, imperceptible coverage.
Here’s how Andrea got her glowing, bare-skinned base:
Step 1: Using fingers/flat foundation brush, prime the skin with the Chanel Le Blanc Light Revealing Brightening Makeup Base. Then with a flat foundation brush, apply the Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint in light sweeping and tapping motions.
Step 2: Give your foundation a radiance boost by mixing the Chanel Rosy Light Drops with the Chanel Ultra Le Teint Foundation (Andrea is using a 1:2 ratio). Likewise, apply the foundation with a gentle hand in tapping motions, sweeping outwards beginning from the high points of the face.
Step 3: Apply the Chanel Le Blanc Whitening Concealer along the under eyes with a flat concealer brush (or if you prefer, your ring finger) for luminous coverage. Sweep any leftover product over your eyelids to even out the skin tone.
Step 4: To create a softer dimension, use a deeper shade of concealer to contour along where you would usually bronze and shade (Andrea used the Chanel Le Correcteur De Chanel Longwear Concealer). Similarly, apply the concealer in thin layers and blend using light tapping motions with a concealer brush and/or fingers.

II. Gilded Glow: A Delicate Sultry
For evening wear, Andrea dialled up her look with a touch of sultry on the eyes, while keeping a brilliant, my-skin-but-better base. The focus: gently smouldered eyeshadow and natural, muted lips.
We ‘amped up the look with a mix of the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Palettes on the eyes and a touch of the Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner (20 Espresso) on the lash line. For a subtle flush on the lips, go for a rosy long-wearing matte lip like Chanel’s Rouge Allure Ink Fusion (804 Mauvy Nude). Then add a pop of shine in the centre of the lips for a fuller, lustrous finish — we used the Chanel Rouge Coco Flash.

III. The Understated Low-Do
For hair, we went for uncomplicated elegance with low-maintenance low-dos that are simple, sophisticated and versatile enough to complement any accessory of your choice. Beginning with: the timeless and graceful low bun.
For a neat but carefree look that’ll frame the face, straighten your hair first to get a sleek finish. Then add texture with loose but defined curls — Andrea achieved both using the ghd Platinum+ Styler. A veil fits right into place, or for something more classic vintage, we paired the low-do with a bridal hat and trailing veil.

IV. The Stripped-Back, Romantic Low Ponytail
Perfect for garden weddings and the free-spirited bride, we love how bohemian but elegant this fuss-free low ponytail is. Keep the hair sleek and frizz-free by straightening it before any further styling. Then, to get an airier look, tease the underside of the hair to add more volume. For ultimate flower child vibes, add loose, tousled curls to your low ponytail — Andrea used the ghd Platinum+ Styler. Finally, we completed the minimalist look with a white silk scarf, complete with pearls at the tips for a touch of exquisite.
